About Ana Maria McLamb
Hi, I’m Ana Maria McLamb, a Child and Family Therapist, Art Therapist, and Psychotherapist with a profound passion for helping others improve their mental and emotional health. As a creative person, a problem-solver, and a Christian, I bring a unique blend of personal experience and professional expertise to my work. My first language is Spanish, and I am also fluent in English and learning Portuguese, allowing me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
As an immigrant, my journey has taught me to be highly culturally aware and adaptable. My varied interests—from art and science to languages and theology—have enriched my approach, enabling me to provide truly holistic and personalized care.
My Approach to Therapy
My mission is to help you process life’s struggles and heal from within. I believe in a comprehensive approach to recovery, addressing the many interconnected areas of your life. This is why I use a mixture of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Christian-Centered Therapy for those who desire it.
I specialize in Art Therapy, an approach that has personally helped me heal from trauma. I’ve found that expressing emotions and stories through art can open doors to healing that words alone cannot.
Areas of Expertise
Over the past four years, I’ve gained extensive experience in a variety of specialty areas, including:

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.”
